Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Inspired Elements Ltd ("Inspired Elements", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar storage and access technologies on our website, what they do, how long they last, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data more generally.

We use these technologies in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and the UK GDPR.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Similar technologies — such as local storage, pixels and tags — store or read information on your device in comparable ways. They are used to make a website work, to remember your choices, to understand how the site is used, and to support advertising.

Under data protection law, the rules apply to all of these "storage and access technologies", not just cookies, so references to "cookies" in this policy include similar technologies.

2. Your consent and control

We do not place any non-essential cookies on your device until you tell us we can. When you first visit our site, you will see a consent banner that lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Manage preferences to choose which categories you allow. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent because the site cannot work properly without them.

You can change or withdraw your choices at any time by selecting "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page, which reopens the preferences panel. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. We will ask you to confirm your preferences again periodically (around every six months).

3. The categories of cookies we use

- Strictly necessary — required for the website to function and to remember your cookie choices. Always on.

- Functional / Preferences — remember choices you make to improve your experience. Off until you consent.

- Statistics / Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Off until you consent.

- Marketing / Advertising — used to measure and personalise our advertising, and may involve cross-site tracking. Off until you consent.

4. The specific cookies we use

Note for the IE team: the tables below list the cookies that Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager / Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel typically set, with their standard default durations. Before publishing, run a cookie scan on the live site (for example with a tool such as CookieYes, Cookiebot or your browser's developer tools) to confirm the exact cookies actually set on your final configuration, and update this table to match. Names containing <ID> will show your specific container or measurement ID on the live site.

5. Third parties and international transfers

Some of the cookies above are set by third parties — principally Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (the Facebook Pixel) — who act as providers to us. These providers may process the information they collect, including outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is subject to appropriate safeguards as described in our Privacy Policy. You can read how these providers use data in Google's and Meta's own privacy and cookie notices.

6. How to manage or withdraw consent

You can manage cookies in the following ways:

On our site: use "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to change your preferences or withdraw consent at any time.

In your browser: most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

7. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
