Home office · London

A home office designed for the way you actually work.

Most home offices are assembled from furniture that was not designed for the room it occupies. A bespoke home office from Inspired Elements is designed for your space, your workflow and your storage requirements - then manufactured in our London manufacturing facility.

The distinction

Your home isn't standard. Your office shouldn't be fitted like one.

A bespoke home office from Inspired Elements is designed to the exact dimensions of your space. The desk spans the full width of the alcove. The shelving reaches the ceiling. The storage is configured for what you actually need to store. Nothing is approximate. Nothing is a workaround.

Our approach

Designed for your work. Built in our London manufacturing facility.

Inspired Elements designs and manufactures bespoke home office furniture in London. We begin by understanding how you work — the equipment you use, the storage you need, the way the room is lit and how it connects to the rest of the house.

From that brief, we design a home office that works for the way you actually use it. Every component is then manufactured in our London manufacturing facility using German CNC precision machinery and installed by our own team.

The result is a home office that does not look like office furniture placed in a room. It looks like the room was designed to be an office.

Designed for your space. Not adapted to it.

What we make

Every element of a bespoke
home office. Under one roof.

Fitted Desks

A desk manufactured to the exact dimensions of the space — spanning the full width of an alcove, wrapping a corner, or sitting flush within a recess. Single surface, return desk or L-shaped configuration. Cable management, monitor risers, integrated power and USB points — all specified at the design stage and built into the desk, not added to it afterwards.

Full-Height Shelving & Bookcases

Bespoke shelving designed for what you need to store — books, files, box files, display items. Adjustable shelves, fixed shelves, closed storage sections and integrated lighting — all designed to the proportions of the wall and manufactured to reach the ceiling. No standard bookcase approximates this.

Integrated Storage & Filing

Fitted cupboards, filing drawers, printer housing and concealed storage — all built into the home office design rather than placed around the edges of it. Doors and drawer fronts in the same finish as the rest of the joinery, so the storage disappears when it is not in use.

Study & Reading Rooms

For rooms dedicated entirely to work or reading — a full-room joinery specification. Desk, shelving, storage, panelling, window seat with storage beneath. Every element designed together, manufactured together, installed as a single coherent interior.

The details

The details that make a home office work.

Cable Management

Integrated cable management built into the desk — cable trays, grommet holes, concealed trunking and in-desk power points. The desk surface stays clear. The cables stay hidden.

Integrated Lighting

Under-shelf task lighting and internal cabinet lighting integrated at the design stage — positioned for the work surface, not the wall socket. Warm or cool white specified to the room and the way the office is used.

Monitor & Equipment Housing

Monitor shelves at the correct height, equipment housing within the desk body, printer recesses with ventilation — all designed around the equipment you use, not around what a standard desk happens to accommodate.

Glazed Display Sections

For home offices that double as a study or reading room, glazed cabinet sections above closed storage — books and objects displayed behind glass, dust-free, considered. The same finish as the cabinetry throughout.

Built-In Safe Housing

For clients who require a concealed safe, we design the housing into the joinery at the design stage — positioned within a cabinet, behind a door that matches the rest of the unit. Invisible unless you know it is there.

How it works

From brief to
finished home office.

01

Design Consultation

Every project begins with a conversation — at our Stanmore showroom, by phone or online. We want to understand the room, how you work, the finish you have in mind and what you want the result to feel like.

02

Design & Specification

Our designers develop the full home office specification — desk configuration, shelving, storage, finishes, lighting and integrated details. We work to your brief, presenting options and refining until the design is right.

03

Site Survey & Manufacturing

Before manufacture begins, we carry out a full site survey — measuring the room precisely. Every component is then manufactured in our London manufacturing facility using German CNC precision machinery.

04

Installation & Aftercare

Our installation team fits the home office. They work clean, protect completed surfaces and carry out a full quality inspection before signing off. All joinery carries a 10-year warranty.

Common questions

Questions about bespoke home office furniture.

Can you fit a home office into an awkward space — an alcove, a recess or under the stairs?

Yes. We design and manufacture home offices specifically for the spaces most standard furniture cannot fill — alcoves, recesses, under-stair spaces, eaves areas and rooms with non-standard dimensions. We survey the space precisely before manufacture and build to the actual measurements.

Can you include cable management and integrated power points?

Yes. Cable management, in-desk power and USB points, concealed trunking and equipment housing are all specified at the design stage and built into the joinery. The desk surface stays clear and the cables stay hidden.

What finishes are available?

We work across the full range — painted finishes, laminates, MFCs and many more. Hardware from leading European manufacturers. Every finish is confirmed with samples before production begins.

How long does a bespoke home office take?

From confirmed specification to installation, most projects run three to four weeks. The design stage typically takes one to two weeks depending on the complexity of the brief.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All Inspired Elements joinery carries a 10-year warranty as standard.
