Home Temple & Mandir

A home temple, made for the way you worship. Designed for your space. Built in London.

A mandir is not furniture — it is the quiet centre of the home. We design and manufacture each one to your space, your tradition and your daily ritual, from our own London facility.

Our approach

The quiet centre of the home, made with the same care it holds.

For many homes, the mandir holds more meaning than any other piece in the house. It deserves the same care in its making. We design every home temple around three things: the space you have, the way your family worships, and the murtis and objects it needs to hold.

Nothing is taken from a catalogue. Each unit is drawn for your room, made to measure in our London facility, and installed by our own team — so the proportions, the detailing and the finish are exactly as intended. Whether a compact mandir for an apartment corner or a full room dedicated to prayer, we build it as one considered, lasting piece, complementing the rest of your fitted living room.

What you get

A mandir resolved before it is built.

Fully bespoke, never modular

Every mandir is designed to your dimensions, your murtis and your ritual — not adapted from a standard size.

Designed and made under one roof

We design, manufacture and install in-house from our London facility. No outsourcing, no handoffs.

Considered detailing

Hand-finished jaali screens, sculpted columns, brass detailing and concealed storage for pooja essentials — resolved at drawing stage.

Integrated, warm lighting

Discreet LED lighting designed into the unit to light the murtis softly, with no visible wiring.

Made to last

German components and precision manufacturing, backed by a 10-year warranty.

One point of contact

A single team from first sketch to final installation.

Styles

From traditional to architectural — your mandir, your way.

Devotion looks different in every home. We design across the full range, from richly traditional temples to quiet, contemporary units that sit seamlessly within a modern interior.

Traditional wooden mandir

Warm oak and walnut tones, carved or laser-cut jaali panels, sculpted columns and a dedicated base for murtis. A nod to the temples of childhood, made for today's home.

Modern home temple

Clean lines, handleless detailing and a restrained palette, with tinted back glass or a feature back panel to frame the murtis.

Compact & miniature mandir

A refined unit for apartments and smaller rooms, using a single corner or a low wall-mounted design without compromising on presence.

Open mandir

A wall-mounted or open-fronted design that lets the space breathe, ideal for larger living rooms.

Half-open / cabinet mandir

Doors with jaali or coloured-glass detailing that close for everyday and open for prayer, with bells and base storage.

Full-room temple

For homes with a dedicated prayer room: sculpted columns, jaali screens, integrated lighting and storage designed as one architectural whole.

Finishes & detailing

Materials chosen to last a lifetime of use.

Your mandir is finished from the same extensive material library as the rest of our work — woodgrains, lacquers, glass and stone — so it can either stand apart as a feature or sit in quiet harmony with your interior.

Woods & woodgrains

Oak, walnut and warm natural tones for a traditional feel.

Lacquer & painted finishes

Soft whites, creams and deeper tones for a contemporary mandir.

Jaali & decorative panels

Hand-detailed or laser-cut lattice screens in wood or acrylic.

Glass & mirror

Tinted back glass, glass-panelled doors and mirrored detailing to lift the light.

Brass & metal detailing

Bells (ghanti), trims and accents in warm brass.

Integrated lighting

Concealed warm LED to light the murtis and create atmosphere.

Practical detailing

Base drawers and concealed storage for pooja essentials — diya, incense, aarti — built in.

Placement

A mandir for every space — even the awkward ones.

You don't need a spare room to have a beautiful home temple. We're specialists in making difficult spaces work.

Corners

A corner mandir turns unused space into the focal point of the room.

Alcoves & recesses

Built in flush, as though the room was always made for it.

Hallways

A slim, space-saving unit that welcomes you home.

Under stairs

A discreet, considered shrine within an everyday space.

Living rooms

Designed to complement your fitted living room and media units as one cohesive scheme.

Common questions

Questions about bespoke home temples.

Can you design a mandir for a small flat or apartment?

Yes. Compact and miniature mandirs are one of our specialities. We can use a single corner, an alcove or a slim wall-mounted design to create a dedicated space for prayer without taking over the room.

Do you make both traditional and modern home temples?

We do. Our designs range from richly traditional wooden mandirs with carved jaali screens and sculpted columns to minimal, contemporary units with handleless detailing and tinted glass — all made to measure.

Can the mandir be designed around our murtis and pooja essentials?

Always. We design the base, shelving and storage around the specific murtis, books and items your family uses daily, including concealed storage for pooja essentials.

Can you add jaali work, bells and lighting?

Yes — hand-detailed or laser-cut jaali panels, brass bells and concealed warm LED lighting to softly light the murtis are all part of what we design in. Detailing is resolved at the drawing stage so the finished unit is exactly as agreed.

How long does a bespoke mandir take?

Lead times are typically a few weeks from approved design, as everything is made to order in our London workshop. Your designer will confirm the timeline for your project.

Where are your mandirs made, and are they guaranteed?

Every unit is designed and manufactured in our own London facility and installed by our team. All our work is backed by a 10-year warranty.
