Inspired Elements designs and manufactures bespoke living room joinery in London. Every piece is designed to the specific dimensions of your room — the alcove, the TV unit — and built in our London manufacturing facility using German CNC precision machinery.

We design the joinery around how you actually use the room. Where the television sits in relation to natural light. How much storage the room needs to contain without showing it. Which surfaces you want clear and which you want dressed. The brief comes from you. The furniture is built around it.

A media unit designed around your specific equipment — the screen size, the components, the cables, the speakers. Open display, closed storage, integrated cable management and equipment ventilation — all specified at the design stage. The television becomes part of the room rather than dominating it.

Alcove Shelving & Cabinets

Alcove shelving and cabinetry manufactured to fill the exact dimensions of the recess — floor to ceiling, precisely to the width of the opening. Open shelving above for books and objects, closed cabinets below for storage. Or the reverse, or something entirely different.

Storage Walls & Fitted Cabinetry

A full-wall joinery run — shelving, closed cabinets, open display sections and integrated lighting — designed to span an entire wall and read as a single architectural piece. The storage wall that makes the room feel considered rather than furnished.

Fireplace & Chimney Breast Joinery

Fitted joinery around a chimney breast or fireplace — flanking cabinets, over-mantle shelving, built-in units at either side. The fireplace as the centre of a composed wall rather than an isolated feature within it. Designed to the proportions of the breast and the room.

Window Seats & Bay Window Joinery

Window seats with storage beneath, bay window joinery that fills the recess and makes the most of the light, fitted benches with cushioned tops and drawers below. Spaces that most furniture cannot reach, resolved with joinery designed specifically for them.

Display & Glazed Cabinets

Open display shelving and glazed cabinets for books, ceramics, glassware and objects. Adjustable shelving, integrated lighting, framed and frameless glazed doors — all specified to the proportions of the piece and the room.

Under-shelf and internal cabinet lighting integrated at the design stage — positioned for what is displayed, not for where the socket happens to be. Warm or cool white specified to the room's lighting scheme.

Cable Management

Integrated cable management built into every media unit — cable trays, grommet holes, concealed trunking and equipment ventilation. The surface stays clear. The cables stay hidden.

Fluted & Reeded Panels

Fluted, reeded and grooved panel details as door fronts or decorative inserts — a surface treatment that adds depth and texture to a flat run of cabinetry. Manufactured in our London manufacturing facility to the same tolerance as everything else.

Integrated Drinks & Bar Storage

Integrated drinks storage — wine fridges, bottle racks, open glass shelving and bar surfaces — built into the living room joinery rather than placed alongside it. The bar as part of the room's architecture.

Soft-Close & Push-to-Open

Blum soft-close hinges and push-to-open mechanisms specified throughout — so handleless cabinets open cleanly, close silently, and require no hardware to interrupt the face of the joinery.

Design & Specification

Our designers develop the full joinery specification — configuration, finishes, lighting and all integrated details. We work to your brief, presenting options and refining the design until it is right.

Site Survey & Manufacturing

Before manufacture begins, we carry out a full site survey — measuring the room precisely. Every component is then manufactured in our London manufacturing facility using German CNC precision machinery.

Installation & Aftercare

Our installation team fits the joinery. They work clean, protect completed surfaces and carry out a full quality inspection before signing off. All joinery carries a 10-year warranty.

Can you fill an awkward alcove or an irregular wall?

Yes. We design and manufacture joinery specifically for non-standard spaces — alcoves that are not quite square, chimney breasts with irregular proportions, bay windows and recess areas that standard furniture cannot reach. We survey the space precisely before manufacture and build to the actual dimensions.

Can you integrate a television into the joinery?

Yes. We design media units and TV joinery around the specific screen size and equipment — with cable management, equipment ventilation and all components built in. The television becomes part of the room rather than dominating it.

What finishes are available?

We work across the full range — painted finishes, laminates, MFCs and many more. Hardware from leading European manufacturers. Every finish is confirmed with samples before production begins.

From confirmed specification to installation, most projects run three to four weeks. The design and specification stage typically takes one to two weeks.
