About the project

For this private home on West Drive, Harrow, we designed and supplied a contemporary kitchen and living space built around texture and contrast. Pale stone-effect handleless cabinetry is paired with dark slate-effect tall units and slim black detailing, creating a refined, architectural look. A large island with a marble-effect worktop and golden veining anchors the room, seating the family and guests and housing an integrated hob with built-in extraction. The matching splashback runs behind a black tap and undermount sink, beneath a wide window that looks out onto greenery.

Practicality is built into the design. Bi-fold pocket doors conceal a glassware and appliance station with its own lighting and worktop, so everyday items stay out of sight when not in use. Integrated ovens sit flush within the tall units, and discreet spotlighting keeps the space bright and inviting. In the adjoining living area, a floating TV unit and slatted wall panelling in a matching stone finish carry the same palette through, so the kitchen and lounge feel like one considered space.
