Bespoke Joinery for Every Room, Thoughtfully Designed
Dark oak-effect lounge with fireplace, games room media wall and trophy display, fluted-panel bedrooms with study desks, a mirrored dressing corridor, walk-in wardrobe and home office, designed and supplied for a private home.

About the project
For this private family home on Wolsey Road, we designed and supplied bespoke joinery across the whole house. Each room has its own character, but all share the same attention to detail and warm, layered LED lighting.
The family lounge is finished in a rich dark oak-effect. A wall-mounted television sits above a linear fireplace, flanked by tall open shelving with illuminated shelf edges and a long run of low handleless storage beneath. Soft cove lighting overhead completes a calm, welcoming space.
The games room is a bolder, darker scheme. A full-height TV wall in black oak-effect panelling, with fine brass inlay lines and a floating media unit, is backlit for a dramatic evening glow. Lit floating shelves above a low cabinet form a neat bar and display corner, while a dedicated trophy cabinet, with glass-fronted display cases on either side of a dartboard recess, gives the family's sporting awards a proper home.
The bedrooms are tailored to the children who use them. In one, deep navy fluted wardrobe doors conceal a fully lit interior with hanging rails, shelving, drawers and an inner mirror. Alongside, a compact study nook pairs a black desk with light oak-effect backing and a lit, open display shelf above. A younger child's room has a navy fluted wardrobe with a playful yellow round handle and a built-in desk by the window. In the children's study, an arched ash-effect feature panel frames a built-in desk with illuminated shelves and personalised drawer fronts, next to a floor-to-ceiling storage wall that mixes soft taupe doors with lit open niches.
Dressing and storage spaces continue the theme. A mirrored dressing corridor is lined on both sides with bronze-tinted glass doors, with lit shelving visible behind. A walk-in wardrobe has tall dark framed doors with soft cream insert panels and long, textured antique brass handles. A home office is fitted with a walnut-effect desk, drawers in a linen-effect finish with brass cup pulls, and a lit open bookcase. A second study space sits under the eaves in the loft, with a bespoke black desk and open storage beneath. Finally, a built-in hallway bench with storage and a padded leather seat sits below a feature wall of round framed mirrors.
